Paulson Urged to Adhere to Auto Industry Bridge Financing Agreement

House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank, D-Mass., has sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson regarding bridge financing to the U.S. domestic auto industry. Chairman Frank urged Secretary Paulson to adopt accountability protections identical to those contained in H.R. 7321, the auto rescue legislation negotiated with the White House and passed last week in the House of Representatives.
